“Education’s purpose is to replace
an empty mind with an open one.”

In September 2011, Aubrey began a Master's degree program in Museum Studies at Johns Hopkins University.

In June 2011, Aubrey completed a graduate studies course at Eleusina, in the Attika region of Greece, outside of Athens. In Eleusina, she and other students worked with faculty from the University of Arkansas CAST program (Center for Advanced Spatial Technology), learning to use the center's Leica C-10 scanner. The students scanned the ancient site of Persephone's meetings with and departure from her mother Demeter each year, and site of the ancient Eleusinian Mysteries.

In May 2010, Aubrey finished her undergraduate education at Loyola Marymount University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Classics, and a concentration in Archaeology.

After postgraduate study and fieldwork experience, she intends to pursue a career goal in museum or library collections with a particular aim to gain experience in the conservation and display of material culture, combining the disciplines of archaeology and museum curatorship.

One of her favorite pastimes is exploring the collections at institutions like the Getty Museum in Los Angeles, the Louvre in Paris, or the British Museum in London and at libraries such as the Huntington Library in Los Angeles the National Archives in Washington D.C. It isn't a matter of seeing all works of art during each visit, but of taking a single room at a time and allowing each piece of art to speak itself.

Libraries, museums, cathedrals...wherever the artwork of mankind is gathered, Aubrey is content.
