“Never forget the importance of history. To know nothing of what happened before you took your place on earth is to remain a child forever.”

For the past ten years, Aubrey Hanson has had a passion for history, not the history of the recent past, but rather ancient, dusty history. Delving into detailed research projects and learning about the handling and history of ancient artifacts, Aubrey has nurtured this passion with the professional goal of one day working in a museum setting, sharing history and a love for it with those around her. At an early age she began to read and study history, art history, and while at Loyola Marymount University she read and studied the Classics and the ancient world.

Now studying with Johns Hopkins University for a Masters in Museum Studies, she plans to continue her studies and seek work in museum collections, archaeology, and history.
